Eddie Jones - We are playing against the World Champions

The England coach, Eddie Jones, has named a new look front-row for tomorrow's Test against the Springboks in London.
The experienced prop Mako Vunipola and the hooker Jamie George come into the starting XV at the expense of Ellis Genge and Luke Cowan-Dickie.
Alex Coles replaces Sam Simmonds on the flank, while in the backline, Tommy Freeman will start on the wing in place of Jack Nowell.
The centre, Manu Tuilagi, will be playing in his 50th Test for the English.
The coach, Eddie Jones, said the Springboks are the reigning world champions for a reason.

Ruan Nortjé - Advice from Marcell Coetzee

The Springbok lock, Ruan Nortjé, has been named as the Bulls captain. This comes following the departure of Marcell Coetzee who left the team in order to go and ply his trade in Japan.
The Springbok and former Cheetahs flyhalf, Johan Goosen and the centre Harold Vorster, will assist the 24-year-old Nortjé after being named as the vice-captains.
In July, Nortjé made his Springbok debut in Bloemfontein after being named on the bench for the 2nd Test against Wales.
Nortjé said that being awarded the captaincy is a big honour and the inspirational Coetzee gave him some solid advice before leaving the Bulls.

Wilco Nienaber - Hopefully I can lay a nice platform for the start of the new se

The South African swing on the DP World Tour tees off on Thursday morning at the Houghton Golf Club in Johannesburg.
The tournament that is co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour will be played at the course for the first time and it has attracted a star-studded field with top golfers from abroad and locally.
These players include the likes of Wilco Nienaber from Bloemfontein as well as Joachim B Hansen, Alexander Knappe, Gregory Bourdy and the Mangaung Open winner, Oliver Hundebøll.
Nienaber told OFM Sport that he looks forward to playing on home soil again.

Russell Winter - Bulls ready for URC resumption

The United Rugby Championship resumes tomorrow night following the international break.
The Welsh teams are in South Africa for the first time this season and tomorrow night the defending champions, the Stormers, will host the Scarlets at 19:00 in Cape Town.
On Saturday afternoon at 15:00 the Bulls will host the Ospreys at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
The Bulls assistant coach, Russell Winter, feels they will be ready after the break.

On Sunday at 16:00 the Lions host the Dragons at Ellis Park and at 18:10 the Sharks welcome Cardiff to Kings' Park.

Marvin Orie - A different challenge at Twickenham

The Springboks will welcome a physical battle when they get to face England on Saturday in London.
The World Champions will want to sign off their season on a high note by claiming the scalp of the English at their fortress, Twickenham.
Last week the Springboks were clinical in most aspects of their game during the 63-21 win over Italy, however, it was upfront where they stamped their authority on the Test.
The Springbok lock, Marvin Orie, that they will be up for a different challenge at Twickenham, and while they are confident following the win against the Azzurri, there is still room for improvement.

Jude Bellingham - On beating Iran in Qatar

England kicked off their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign in emphatic style in Qatar on Monday with a convincing win in Group B.
The Three Lions meant business at the Khalifa International stadium as they thumped Iran 6-2.
Bukayo Saka scored a brace for the 1966 champions, while Jude Bellingham, Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish each found the back of the net as well.
Both of Iran's goals were scored by Mehdi Taremi.
The young English midfielder, Bellingham, said they couldn’t have asked for a better start to their campaign, and he was determined to score goals at the tournament.

Gareth Bale - Character against the USA

The Wales captain, Gareth Bale, praised the character of his team following their 1-1 draw against the USA at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
In what was their first game at the World Cup in 64-years, Bale scored an equaliser to earn the draw against the America.
The USA took the lead in the Group B tie through a Tian Weah goal, but the Dragons relied on their skipper to score the equaliser with some eight minutes left on the clock from the penalty spot.
Following the match Bale lauded this determination of this team, although he conceded that earning three points would have been more satisfying than adding a World Cup to this already impressive footballing CV.

Bongi Msomi - Geared for the Diamond Challenge

The Proteas Netball team is ready for the Diamond Challenge that gets underway on Tuesday afternoon in Pretoria.

The tournament is featuring South Africa, as well as Scotland, Zimbabwe and the Presidents XII.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament is being played for the first time in three years and forms an important part of the Proteas' preparations for next year’s Netball World Cup in Cape Town.

On Tuesday afternoon, South Africa will face Scotland in the opening match and the captain, Bongi Msomi, says they are ready.

Deon Davids - He has something up his sleeve

The Springboks are bracing for a physical challenge when they come up against England on Saturday in London, in what is their season-ending Test.
The Boks will have to make do without six players after they had to return to their respective clubs.
The English in their turn will want to defend their proud record of an eight-year unbeaten run at Twickenham against South Africa.
The Springbok assistant coach, Deon Davids, told OFM Sport that the England coach is a wily old fox and he will have a plan in place.

Gareth Bale - Wales geared to face the USA in Qatar

Wales will make their first appearance at a FIFA World Cup since 1958 when they face the USA this evening in Al-Rayyan.
Not much will separate the two teams for the Group B be fixture with the Welsh being ranked 19th in the world, while the Eagles are ranked 16th.
This will only be the third time ever that these two teams will face each other, with the Eagles winning once, while the other ending in a goalless draw.
The Welsh captain, Gareth Bale, said they are quietly confident.
