1000 African Voices

Kuungana, 1000 African Voices is more than just a podcast. It is a project aimed at breaking down the boundaries that divide us as a people. The boundaries that divide our beautiful continent of Africa.

Over the coming years we will do this by collecting and sharing stories from all parts of Africa. Stories from our sisters in Ghana, our brothers in Nigeria, our uncles in Namibia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. From Malawi to Cameroon, Ethiopia to Libya, Cairo to Harare we will connect with as many people as we can. Our aim is to record and publish 1000 African Voices. So we invite all fellow Africans on the continent and in the diaspora to be part of the Kuungana Africa Project.

Kuungana is a Swahili word for connect. Our task is to connect with the 1 billion inhabitants of our beautiful continent
