Terminology
Decanting – Separating by pouring off the top liquid
Filtering – pass through something to remove unwanted material
Sieving – Process of separating particles of different sizes (fine from bigger) –using a sieve
Hand sorting- separate and pick the particles by hand
Settling- allowing the heavier particles to settle at the bottom and the liquid poured out.
