Interview with Dr. Manyane Makua

The Council on Higher Education has begun an institutional audit of all South African public and private universities in accordance with its legislative mandate.
IQA, as it is known, provides a "possibility for the entire University community to reflect on their purpose at MUT."
Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUTQuality )'s Management Directorate is in charge of institutional-level quality assurance processes (QMD). Dr. Manyane Makua, Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor responsible for the Teaching and Learning Portfolio and Research at MUT, joins the Vuk' ubangene breakfast show for this discussion.



Mfundo Maseko is a third year Electrical Engineering Student. He has been playing for the MUT Football for the last 4 years. In this interview, he shares his leadership skills. He also expresses some of the challenges the football undergo.

On 25th November 2021 Mangosuthu University of Technology help their 2021 SRC elections. The Elections was disputed by a few of the parties.
Following allegations of irregularities and anomalies made by some student formations in respect of the SRC elections that were held on 25 November 2021, the Universitymappointed an external auditing firm to look into these allegations. The investigators have now completed their investigation, and their report was presented to the EMC
on the 9th February 2022. The auditors recommend several improvements for the future, but have arrived at the conclusion that “the University followed all due processes incompliance with the SRC Electoral Policy, SRC Constitution and the SRC Elections 2021 Code of Conduct.”

He has cultivated this strong interest towards the field of community development thanks to the Mr & Miss Municipalities of South Africa and Phansi Crime & Rehabilitation campaign NPO. He has acknowledge the opportunity to take part in community development project.
His aim is to build community bond based on justice, equality and mutual respect, introduce to dimensions to uplift the lives and social standards using tools that focus merely on improving the needs of the society and through his journey. He wishes to be more involved in changing the relationship between ordinary people and homeless people also people in positions of power, so that everyone can take part in quandary that affect their lives and generate solutions to common problems.
