I’m a 34-year-old spontaneous, lively and proud gay man from the countryside Concordia Namaqualand with big dreams. My passion for the media stems from childhood where I could have always been seen with my mother’s wooden spoon in my eyes at that time a 'mike' in hand presenting my own ‘show’. I’m currently a radio personality at Namaqualand's largest radio station Radio NFM 98.1, trying to create as much awareness as possible around LGBTQI + issues. I live in a small town and want to be an inspiration to other men and women who want to be their authentic selves.

LaReeRee & Daniyah Naidoo

It's no secret that one day I would like to be on TV. My next guest has always been a huge inspiration for me.

In episode two of LaReeRee makes Shabba we celebrate the powerhouse which is the beautiful Miss Daniyah Naidoo. We talk about life, love, art, and where and when she got her first tattoo.

I met her once in an elevator on my way to a friend and totally freaked out!

In this episode, we get to know more about her religious journey and what it means to her to be sober for one year without looking back.

LaReeRee & AJ

Episode three with Armand Joubert, better known in the music scene of Mzansi as AJ, was an absolute blast. I've never really spoken openly to anyone that's so 'out' and proud. He is definitely not afraid to be himself and speak his mind.

We spoke about his album flamboyant and sex sex sex and more sex. We discussed 'coming out' when you are ready - to live your truth and go for your dreams no matter what. It was absolutely gaylicious.
