19 Sep Klipspruit West High School disrupted again as four teachers barred from entry
The Gauteng Education Department has confirmed that preliminary exams for grade 11 learners at the Klipspruit West High School in Eldorado Park, south of Johannesburg will not go ahead. This comes after classes were disrupted yesterday after four teachers were barred from entering the premises. It's believed that other educators then boycotted classes in solidarity with the group, resulting in exams not taking place. The school has made headlines in recent weeks after protests erupted over the appointment of a black principal. Stephen Kirker spoke to community leader Anthony Williams.
