#PODCAST: KZN Parents Association slam "social media challenges" - say technology is being used in the incorrect manner

By Newsbreak Producer Shanell Daniel - As South Africa rapidly embraces the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) at schools across the country, the dangers of a digitally advanced leaner has sparked major concern. This after videos of learners participating in a social media challenge called the "Skull-Breaker Challenge" have left many injured or hospitalized. The challenge begins with three people standing alongside each other, seemingly ready to jump into the air all at once. But, the two learners on either sides do not jump. It is only the unsuspecting person in the middle that does, and before landing, the two on either side trip the middle person, who dangerously falls to the ground.
