GUEST - Tshireletso Mokate - Camping RetrEats founder
Alberton-based Tshireletso Mokate walked away with a prize worth R1 million in 2023’s Nedbank Pitch & Polish. His business, Camping RetrEats, takes all the hard work out of camping like setting up fires and tents and doing all the cooking so that guests can experience the joys of the outdoors and adventure activities without worrying about the chores. Asked if the business has changed since winning the competition “Since winning Pitch & Polish, Camping RetrEats has moved to bigger premises, we’ve bought a second truck and have a larger workshop to store our equipment – it also means we’re now able to clean and maintain our equipment in-house.”
