Kasi Update Podcast

Kasi Update Podcast is a project designed to entertain, promote local talent and inform people in targeted communities about the day to day events of the community. It serves as a warning, announcement, news and local talent promotion platform. The podcast is released timely to maintain relevance in current issues. This project came about after a baseline survey that indicated there is a gap where we see a lot of unappreciated talent in communities and it needs an intervention to promote local talent. KUP comes as a mitigation so they are known, supported and better appreciated in future.

My Radio journey started on 30th June 2013 at Mozolo Fm in Kroonstad my home town. I was the host of Talk show: Your Rights and Cultural / Traditional Show: Ditswa Pitseng. I then joined The Rock Fm in the following year where I hosted Talk show called: Tsa Bophelo. The following Year I was given an opportunity to do Midday Talk with new content and fresh approach on community radio. That’s when I conceptualized a show that will empower, educate and help the society.
