"What Pitso Told Me Years Ago..." (Brought To You By Heineken)

--:--
While Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has reportedly rejected an offer from the South African Football Association (SAFA) to replace Molefi Ntseki as the national team coach, according to one of his former star players, Mosimane is not done with international football just yet. Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Teko Modise, who played under 'Jingles' throughout his stay at Chloorkop, has opened up about a conversation they had years ago in which the 56-Year-Old mentor revealed one of his football dreams.

In the latest episode of the SL Podcast's "The Carwash" (brought to you by Heineken), Modise states, "I remember having a conversation with coach Pitso a long time ago. He said he wants to coach at the World Cup. He's now coaching in Egypt, and in the champions league and the biggest tournaments, but [in future] I see that happening. With Bafana Bafana, we know it's not gonna happen, if he had to come back, it would be the same people that he fought with when he was Bafana coach. I still see Pitso coaching at the World Cup, whether it's [2026] or whatever."

In the full podcast, the Carwash crew give their breakdowns of Kaizer Chiefs' recent form, grade Orlando Pirates' season so far and give analysis for the first legs of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals
