Amatikulu Sugar Mill under tight security surveillance following threats

The Amatikulu Sugar Mill in Gingindlovu, KwaZulu-Natal is under strict surveillance by law enforcement and the farming community following reports that protestors in the province are eyeing it. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the South African Canegrowers Association, Thomas Funke, tells the OFM Business Hour that tonight the mill is being guarded by farmers, security guards, military personnel and police in case the mill is indeed targeted. Whilst the situation is tense, they are hopeful nothing will materialize.
