Covid-19 bears fruits for labour law practitioners

Many industries have been brought to their knees by the Covid-19 pandemic, however it appears labour law centered businesses are thriving. One such business is Tenacious Concepts Labour Agency owned by Matlhodi Leeuw who was on the OFM Business Hour amidst women’s month. Leeuw explains that the improvement in her businesses during the pandemic was due to the sheer volume of businesses that were closing and negotiating retrenchment packages with employees. Speaking on women empowerment in 2021, she says a lot still needs to be done to support female driven businesses in male dominated spaces.
