Bucs Fans Bid Jele Farewell!

--:--
A Legend, a leader, and an inspiration. Happy Jele and Orlando Pirates have parted ways after spending 16 years together. Jele joined the Soweto giants in 2006 and eventually took over the captain's armband from Lucky Lekgwathi. Jele has played over 400 times for the club and scored close to 18 goals. He is the most capped Pirates player to grace Soweto and his on-field aurora will be sorely missed. This news has come as a shock to many Buccaneers fans and they truly believe more could be done. On the Fan Reaction Show, one fan suggested that a leadership role for the youth could have been organised.

Bucs fans express their gratitude towards the 35-year-old veteran for his dedication and his years of service to the club. Jele leaves pirates with 8 trophies, and a handful of runners-up medals. Jele has undoubtedly left a legacy for future generations and will be forever known as a club legend!

On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Mzansi and fans of Orlando Pirates bid farewell to a club legend in Happy Jele. The fans express sadness seeing their beloved captain leave the coveted black and white jersey.
