Kelly Khumalo’s watching brief requests opposed in Senzo Meyiwa trial

A letter stating requests from watching brief advocate Magdalene Moonsamy, representing Senzo Meyiwa's then girlfriend singer Kelly Khumalo, was opposed in the Pretoria high court on Monday. At the start of the trial in April, Moonsamy was asked to leave the court room because Khumalo is a potential witness in this matter. The state and both defence counsels opposed the letter.
