Eamonn and Valencia introduce us to the Cederberg Bukettraube 2022

A floral Bukettraube with notes of chamomile and white blossom aromas. Hints of
apricot, dried fruit and honeydew follow through on the semi-sweet palate that lead to
a sensational creamy finish. A great food-pairing wine.
Optimum Drinking Time: Two to five years.

Bukettraube is the perfect spicy (but not too hot) fusion food partner. Sweet Cape
curries, sweet barbeques, or goose liver and baked fruits all work well. Monkey gland,
raisin and milder Thai sauces also work well with Bukettraube. We cannot stress
enough that this is not a dessert wine. This wine does not like chocolate or dairy (the
latter, however, if infused with orange peel or sweet fruit flavours, can work). Turkish
desserts are natural Bukettraube partners.
C h e e s e : Boerenkaas, edam, emmental, gruyère and unsmoked provolone will all be
good matches.
