Why The Carling Knockout Cup Brings Dstv Premiership Fans Hope!

--:--
In July 2022, the PSL announced that the Carling Cup, historically played between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, will be scrapped as a whole, with the Carling Knockout Cup taking its place. This tournament will see all 16 PSL teams taking part, with the fans of Mzansi having the final say, by voting for their 4 favourite teams, to partake in the matches. These changes has been heavily welcomed by football fans around the entire country, as it allows teams, other than the Soweto Giants, to have an opportunity to play for silverware.

This cup has replaced the Telkom Knockout Cup, after close to 3 decades of enjoyment. The Carling Knockout Cup will follow the same format of the Telkom Knockout Cup,, where the 16 DStv Premiership sides will be drawn in a straight knockout tournament until a winner is determined.

On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Mzansi Reacts to Carling Knockout Cup, which will feature all 16 teams from the Dstv Premiership. The fans express their excitement for the competition to begin and share their thoughts on the format.
