Mountain Range
Syrah Grenache Noir 2021
Tasting Notes
Crimson red wine with an intense perfumed mélange of red fruits and candy apple and bright oak undertones. On the palate, the fruit / oak balance is harmonious with soft and juicy tannins, cassis and plum flavours producing a wine of vibrant structure and a lingering finish.

Winemaker's Notes
Harvesting is done by hand, followed by grape sorting before the grapes were put into the same fermenter after which co-fermentation took place. After malolactic fermentation took place naturally, the wines were aged in third, fourth, and fifth fill French oak barrels for 8 months. After tacking and filtration, the wine was bottled in October 2021.

Serving Suggestion
Smoked brisket or a mild Cape Malay Curry
