In recent days, breaking news hit the airwaves with Thabo Cele ‘agreeing personal terms’ with Kaizer Chiefs. The 26-year-old has spent close to a decade plying his trade in Europe where he is currently playing for Polish outfit Radomiak Radom. Chiefs are currently still in negotiations with the Bafana Bafana midfielder but there could be light at the end of the tunnel.

The 2023/23 Dstv Premiership season gets underway on 4 August with Mamelodi Sundowns beginning their title defence against Sekhukhune United.
