Parliamentary committee recommends Mkhwebane be impeached

Busisiwe Mkhwebane has been charged with misconduct by a section 194 parliamentary committee.
Mkhwebane was suspended as public protector after President Cyril Ramaphosa called her integrity into question last year.
The committee adopted a final report to impeach Mkhwebane which they will forward to the National Assembly. Her term in office ends on October 14.
The EFF and ATM rejected the report and said they would take it on review.
