17 October, concludes eye care awareness month, which already started mid-September. We also recently celebrated World Sight Day and the Free State Eye and Laser Centre has a special offer regarding this. Yolanda Maartens is joined by Dr Niel van Wyk, who has a passion for LASIK surgery and multi-focal lens implants, which if done correctly for a patient who qualifies for the procedure, can walk out with the gift of unaided sight. Dr Van Wyk says at Free State Eye and Laser Centre you can get free screening to see if you qualify for LASIK surgery as well as 20% discount on the procedure for the rest of October 2023.
