eThekweni Municipality to fast track Tongaat development after tornado

On Monday parts of KZN were heavily impacted by torrential rains, and what is believed to be a tornado.

Water and electricity services has been restored in some areas, and the municipality is confident that all services will be fully restored within five days.

Municipal teams are clearing debris and restoring essential services, NGOs are aiding with humanitarian support, while the Mayor of eThekwini Municipality, Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda announced the fast tracking of restoration and development in the area.
