In 2014, Cathy was selected as a fellow for the US President #BarakObama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (commonly called #YALI). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Witwatersrand known as Wits.
Cathy is passionate about #youth, #education and current affairs. She is part of an #NGO that builds schools in rural areas and conducts youth development programmes to empower and up-skill young people.
