The Saskatchewan chapter of the Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP) is advocating for the creation of an independent office to advocate for seniors in the province. With elections coming up, president Laura Ross-Giroux says seniors have to go through a minimum of three ministries to receive support in areas like short- and long-term housing, food and safety.
