The Matric class of 2024 has made history after South Africa’s national pass rate for the 2024 NSC results increased from 82.9% in 2023 to 87.3%. Department of Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube says this is the highest matric pass rate in the history of the country, however, a drop in the overall performance for the Physics subject has been noted.
