What is resilience? Poetically put, one might say ‘resilience is the human heart’s ability to suffer greatly and grow from it’. As much as we all may want that, for many of us it simply seems out of reach, unpleasant and inconvenient, and we want to end the associated pain or discomfort as quickly as possible. Well, you’ll be pleased to know that resilience can be learnt and built and that will be our focus for this week.
