Helping a mom of two continue her study dreams

Sally Shentall, from Lichtenberg in North West, is a mother of two daughters, Leigh (4) and Elara (2). She is currently in her second year of distance learning at North-West University (NWU), pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching. Unfortunately, on 17 December, her family was involved in a car accident. Her husband sustained a serious back injury and is still recovering. As a self-employed individual, he has been unable to work and, therefore, unable to earn a living. On top of this financial setback, the family has been burdened with mounting medical bills. That’s why Sally reached out to Good Morning Angels, applying for a Willard Bursary to cover her R32,000 tuition fees for 2025.
