ActionSA Gauteng Youth Forum has raised concerns
about students' accommodation not providing adequate
wifi, leading to delayed assignment submissions. The
forum noticed this issue during student recruitment on
Bramfotein campus.
The forum fears that students may lose marks due to
inadequate internet connections, not due to their own
actions. They call for the university to hold the
accommodation accountable and engage with affected
faculty to allow students to submit assignments. The forum
urges the accommodation to prioritize reliable connections
for students, as they deal with numerous submissions and
research work. The forum calls for accommodations to
make their studies easier and not contribute to students'
late completion of studies.
