As we mark the Energy Month, City Power proudly celebrates the one-year anniversary of the successful recommissioning of the John Ware Open Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT) Power Station, which remains one of the key achievements in our mission to transform the energy landscape of Johannesburg and Gauteng.
Refurbished and brought online in April 2024, the John Ware substation stands as a symbol of our commitment of making sure that the city remains energy secure to respond to social and economic needs of the residents.
