In this podcast, STANLIB’s Chief Economist, Kevin Lings, explores a wide range of data on the US labour market. In response, the US Federal Reserve is expected to cut interest rates twice this year and again in 2026. Kevin also discusses whether these higher tariffs are likely to stimulate US manufacturing.
