Vanessa Sekati is a dynamic and results-driven Cybersecurity Professional with extensive experience managing complex security operations across leading organizations in the financial and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Services Manager at Standard Bank Group, she leads strategic initiatives to strengthen cyber resilience, manage security operations, and implement threat mitigation frameworks that protect critical infrastructure and customer data.
Her career includes impactful roles such as Cyber Incident Manager at MTN and Vodacom SOC, where she led incident response, threat intelligence, and SOC operations across multi-national environments. She has consistently demonstrated the ability to develop and implement robust cybersecurity frameworks aligned with industry standards such as ISO 27035, NIST, COBIT, and ITIL.
She is passionate about cybersecurity advocacy, youth empowerment, and reducing unemployment through tech education.
