The MUT Community Engagement Directorate hosted the Scholarship of Engagement Conference under the theme:
“Bridging the Knowledge Gap in Advancing the Scholarship of Engagement for Maximum Societal Impact.”
On the final day of the conference, proceedings were facilitated by Sthembile Nkosi from MUT, who introduced the keynote speakers under the sub-theme:
“Bridging the Science Engagement Divide: Pathways for Community-Based Knowledge Societies in South Africa.”
The keynote speakers included Dr Saahier Parker and Sylvia Hannan from the HSRC, who delivered insightful presentations aligned with the conference’s objectives.
