At least two people lost their lives and several others were injured after a lightning strike during the annual Mphebatho Troop Festival held at the Mphebatho Sports Ground in Dertig, North West. Mpho Mashita and Jones Netshipise are joined by Meteorologist and South African Weather Service Forecaster, Lehlogonolo Thobela as they look into what triggers a lightning strike on people and maybe on livestock as well because we’ve seen that happen several times.
