While GDP growth at a headline level looks robust, it reveals some concerns about personal income, which has been lagging expenditure. The US labour market has also been softening, so while the Federal Open Markets Committee is unlikely to cut this at its meeting this week, markets will nonetheless look for signs of further weakness in employment.
