Sbuda Juice is a South African Hip-Hop artist, songwriter and collaborator whose music draws from the country's evolving urban-music landscape. His catalogue reflects an interest in bringing together Hip-Hop, Kwaito and Amapiano-influenced sounds, while working with artists from different parts of the South African music scene.
His recorded work includes collaborations with established Hip-Hop names such as Blaklez, N'Veigh, Pdot’O and Mapaputsi, as well as artists associated with the newer Amapiano movement. His earlier releases include “Insimbi” with Blaklez and “Tobetsa,” which was later remixed with Towdeemac, Red Button, N'Veigh, Pdot’O and Mapaputsi.
Sbuda Juice has also collaborated with Red Button, including on “Wela,” and more recently with Red Button and Mazakaza on the 2026 release “Hadiwele.”
His catalogue demonstrates a willingness to move between different strands of South African urban music rather than being confined to a single genre. This makes his work particularly relevant to the continuing conversation around the relationship between Kwaito's legacy, South African Hip-Hop and the rise of Amapiano.
