The department of Sports, Arts and Culture in Limpopo says it wants to develop a model that will be provincialized that will be able to respond to the challenges of deaf artists and stakeholders in the province. MEC Jerry Maseko, speaking to Nghamula Chauke said this model will be developed after consultations with organisations that speak to issues affecting members of the deaf community and that even employees of the department will be capacitated with skills that will assist them with communicating with those who are deaf.
