Payment delays, reissued invoices, lengthy approval processes, and budget constraints can have significant consequences for contractors and consultants, and ultimately for project delivery.

In the lead-up to the Unlocking Infrastructure Delivery Event on 18 September, Peter Barnard, Cox Yeats partner and host of the event, highlights practical challenges on infrastructure projects and the need for more efficient processes around payments, approvals and additional project costs.

These are among the issues Peter will put to the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Dean Macpherson as government and industry come together to consider what needs to change to improve infrastructure delivery in South Africa.

With the event now at full capacity, we look forward to a robust and solutions-focused discussion.
