It is Pride Month in South Africa, and the iconic Market
Theatre in Newtown is making a massive, historic
statement. They are currently hosting their first-ever,
inaugural Queer Festival, running right now until the 25th of
October.
The lineup looks incredible, featuring everything from
drama and live concerts to some very cheeky cabaret. To
give us the full scoop on why this festival is a
game-changer, we have the Market Theatre Foundation
publicist, Bongiwe Potelwa, live on the line. VUYELWA MALULEKE,
welcome to VOW FM!
