When the Phone Keeps Ringing: Recognizing God’s Call in Every Season | Called
Loading player...
Have you ever prayed for God to show you your calling, only to realise later that He had already been giving you opportunities to walk in it? In this deeply personal and reflective episode of Called, host Chrissie shares her own journey through missions, fear, and unexpected detours.
Recounting a frightening experience of being robbed at gunpoint during a missions trip to Botswana and the heavy fear that followed, Chrissie unpacks how easy it is to let one difficult chapter close us off from future obedience. Drawing from 1 Samuel 3:10 ("Speak, for your servant is listening"), this episode challenges us to stop waiting for a "grand" or flawless invitation and instead pay attention to the ordinary opportunities, people, and ministries right in front of us. Tune in to be encouraged to heal, turn the page, and answer the call!
