The University of the Free State’s Student Representative Council (SRC) members have raised more than R1.2 million for students who cannot afford tuition fees under the Right-to-Learn-Campaign.

The SRC-president, Lindokhule Ntuli, says the money would be used to help needy students with textbooks, food and tuition fees. The fundraising started last year after the #FeesMustFall campaign. Ntuli hopes more people will get involved in the campaign.
