Rains resolve water problem in Tlokwe

Recent rains have resolved the water problem in Tlokwe, North West, but this is no excuse for residents to be wasteful with water.
This is according to Tlokwe City Council Spokesperson Willie Maphosa. The four local reservoirs at Vyfhoek, Ventersdorp, Ikageng and Eersterandjies are currently at 100% capacity, after they were trailing between 35% and 76% just last week.
The current drought also saw dam levels in the area dangerously low. However, both Boskop Dam and Potch Dam are now at full capacity.
Maphosa thanked residents for using water sparingly.
