Nkandla case: ANC unlikely to recall Zuma

A political analyst believes while the Nkandla court case is another political setback for President Jacob Zuma, the ANC is unlikely to recall him.

The EFF and DA have asked the Constitutional Court to force Zuma to pay back some of the money for non-security upgrades to his Nkandla home, as recommended by the Public Protector. The highest court in the land heard arguments yesterday from all parties involved in the matter.

Zuma's legal team conceded that Thuli Madonsela's findings on Nkandla are in fact, binding. The ConCourt reserved judgment.

Constitutional law expert and political analyst, Richard Calland, says there are rumours that Zuma may lose his position. But Calland says he can't see that happening.
