Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Mmusi Maimane says President Jacob Zuma spoke about many things during his State of the Nation Address (Sona) on Thursday night, but there was no real plan to address the issues facing South Africans.

Maimane says Zuma was not bold enough to state government's plan to turn things around.

He says the president's speech was uninspiring, adding that he has not given South Africans much hope.
