Free State IEC targeting youths to register

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) in the Free State will be targeting young voters during the first round of voter registration this weekend.
Local voters will be able to check their voter roll details and if necessary register on Saturday and Sunday.
Stations will be open between 08:00 and 17:00.
Free State Electoral Officer Jabulani Tshabalala says youth who want to register as a new voter need a green barcoded ID book or the new smartcard ID to register.
