Potch residents without water again

Shoddy workmanship on the side of a contractor has led to residential areas to the east of the N12 highway in Potchefstroom, North West, being left without water again. This was confirmed to OFM News by Tlokwe City Council spokesperson Willie Maphosa, and is the second such incident in as many months.

According to Maphosa, a team from the municipal infrastructure department is currently attending to the matter. Consequently, the bulk supply line will remain closed for the better part of the day as the problem is being attended to.

Maphosa says the municipality regrets the inconvenience and is doing its best to address the situation as soon as possible.
