Various countries across the region will commemorate the week from 24 to 30 April. Today also marks International Vaccination Day.

Chairperson of the Pharmaceutical Society in the Free State, Blenn Eagar, says the goal of the commemoration is to strengthen immunisation programmes in the African region.
