Former Grain SA President Louw Steytler delivered a strongly worded message varying from expressions of hope to criticism of threats during his address to the Brangus World Congress underway in the Free State.
Steytler hailed the Constitution of the South Africa, while at the same time highlighting threats to agriculture. He also rubbished claims that market forces have hindered land reform, instead laying the blame on state capture and corruption:
Steytler went on to describe Public Protector Thuli Madonsela as the bravest person he has ever encountered for the manner in which she has reinstated our Constitutional path and the rule of law.
