The Democratic Alliance (DA) is planning a mass march to the ANC's headquarters, Luthuli House, on Friday calling for President Jacob Zuma's immediate removal from office.

There has been widespread outrage over the President's cabinet reshuffle on Friday.

DA leader, Mmusi Maimane says the party will be taking to the streets.

Meanwhile, there are rumblings on social media about a planned nationwide shutdown on Friday. A message that went viral at the weekend has called for every citizen, regardless of race or political affiliation, to take to the streets in protest. By Sunday night, at least 3 300 people had indicated they would participate.
