New traffic law affecting transport of school children effective today

A new law aimed at keeping children safer on our roads - comes into effect today. It's now illegal to transport children on the back of bakkies:

Motsasing says the Transport Department will be reviewing other laws - due to the countrywide increase in the number of road crashes.
