More than a hundred people arrested in five days

In total 134 people were arrested for various crimes during a five-day, cross-border operation by the Northern, Eastern, and Western Cape police this week. This tri-province operation was undertaken to address major crimes that affect the three provinces. SAPS’ Dimakatso Mooi says vehicles and people were searched resulting in arrests and issuing of fines to different offenders of various crimes including those who were at large.
