The Toyota Cheetahs and the Southern Kings are officially out of the Super Rugby.

The two teams reached an agreement with the South African Rugby Union.

It’s one step closer for the team’s inclusion in the European based Pro12 as from next year.

The SARU CEO, Jurie Roux, explains the decision to axe the Cheetahs and Kings.

The Kings and Cheetahs tackle each other next weekend in their final Super Rugby game.
